12:00–14:00 | Helicopter Tour Around Kiruna!
Join a flight with Kallax Flyg and see Kiruna from above.
Price: Adults SEK 550, children SEK 400 (up to 11 years). Payment on site via Swish app. Note: Flights may be cancelled in case of bad weather. Location: Entrance to the new industrial area, Luftfartsvägen. A walking path is available from the roundabout.

11:00–17:00 | Nutti Sami Siida’s Reindeer and Lávvu
Reindeer sled rides for children. Try lasso throwing, meet and feed the reindeer. Coffee and tasty treats are served in the Lávvu. Location: Reindeer Camp arena, near the Police Station.

13:00–16:00 | Art Workshop Open for Winter-Themed Creativity
Come and try painting, drawing, collage, handicrafts, or other paper-based activities. Free of charge, everyone is welcome, no registration required!
Location: KIN Museum of Contemporary Art, 1st floor, Art Workshop, Kiruna City Hall.

17:00 | Opening of the Snow Playground!
Come and play and be among the first to try this year’s Snow Play Land.
Location: City Hall Square.

19:00 | Concert: Davvi Oktavuohta – Northern Connection
The Finnish-Sámi joik artist, singer, and actress Ingá-Máret Gaup-Juuso joins forces with Northern Finland’s pride in rhythm music, the Oulu All Star Big Band.
Note: Limited number of seats. Free tickets are available while supplies last and can be collected at City Hall reception from January 15.

10:00–14:00 | Helicopter ride around Kiruna!
Join a flight with Kallaxflyg and see Kiruna from above.

Location: Between the E10 roundabout and Luftfartsvägen, 67°50’48.7″N 20°19’11.7″E, 10min walk from the city center. NOTE: No parking available.

10:00–15:00 | Electric snowmobile demo with Outback Abisko
Experience the future of silent and sustainable snowmobiles – see them, test ride, and talk mountain adventures.
Location: City Hall Square.

10:30–14:00 | Snow Golf Competition – Kiruna Snow Golf Scramble!
Registration on site from 09:30. Coffee and snacks from Ripan, course preparation by Trailservice. Completely free! Clubs and balls available to borrow.
Location: Kiruna Golf Course.

The Weaving Studio of the Jukkasjärvi Heritage Association celebrates local craftsmanship with an outdoor exhibition of woven art.
Location: City Hall Square.

10:30–13:00 | Dog sledding
Kiruna Sled Dog Club is on site for anyone who wants to meet their amazing dogs and try dog sledding.
Location: Fairy Tale Forest, the woods opposite City Hall.

11:00–15:00 | Handicraft fair at Aurora
Local craftsmen sell their handicrafts.
Location: Aurora Culture & Congress, Vistas (one floor up).

11:00–13:00 | Pony riding
Canceled due to temperature. Don’t miss pony riding with Kiruna Riding Club.
Temperature limit: –15°C.
Location: Behind City Hall.

11:00–13:00 | Outdoor floor hockey with KIF
Play floor hockey with Kiruna IF youth and Kiruna IF. Bring a helmet, stick, and a good mood. (Limited equipment available to borrow.)
For children born in 2017 and later. Sausage and warm juice for all participants.

11:00 | Film: “Four Seasons at Valkkikurkkio Rapids” by Håkan Lundström, 60 min

14:00 | Reindeer race – “Kiruna Reindeer Racing Challenge”
Don’t miss when Kiruna companies compete against each other in reindeer racing. Qualifying heats and final.
Entry fee: SEK 1,000 per team, max 16 teams. The winning team donates all entry fees to a youth program of their choice within a Kiruna association.
Location: Reindeer Camp Arena, by the Police Station.

Two-time August Prize winner Bea Uusma visits Kiruna City Library with her new book Vitön (White Island).
